If you are expecting a little, you can stress about everything. One of those things is to think about everything you need to get for your baby. You might be wondering what you really need and should register for. Which means: Have you gone shopping baby?! There’s a lot of baby stuff. The look on the women’s faces when they first walk in is a look of pure terror and confusion. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! This is my ultimate baby registry checklist filled with my very favorite baby items you can’t live without!
This baby registry checklist includes everything you’ll need for the first three months and beyond. To make it easier, I have divided everything into different categories. We know lists can be long, so we hope that breaking them down for you won’t make your baby registry checklist so overwhelming. As a special bonus, I’ve included links to my favorite and most used items in almost every suggestion. I hope this is a comprehensive and helpful post as you prepare for your little one. Take it!

A crib mattress.
When it comes to crib mattresses, you want to find something that’s soft yet firm. It fits the dimensions of your crib properly, and that it is of good quality. Here are some great options. Safety 1st, Nature Padak, Knock Sleep Systems.
Crib mattress pad (2).
When baby is out of diapers, it’s helpful to have some extra protection! Here’s a cheap one: Highly rated crib pad. I love that it’s easy to wash too! You’ll want two of these.
Changing Pads:

Replacing the pad cover (2).

Rocker/Glider.

Bassinet, bassinet, or co-sleeper.
Not all babies fall asleep in their cribs right away. You need to be prepared in case the child has a poop, vomit, or pee accident. Crib sheets are very thin, so they can get dirty.

Diaper bowl:
You don’t have to spend extra money to get a diaper pail for your room. But I like if you want to keep those smells away. Ubi: And Decor diaper pail.
Bottles:
You will need some bottles whether you decide to breastfeed or bottle feed. You can’t always have your baby around for every feeding, so thank God for pumping and bottles. My all time favorite bottles are: Dr. Brown’s, Tommy Tippy, Komotomo:, Nanobeand: Mimijomi:.
Bottle Brush:
Bottles can get very dirty if you don’t clean them properly. A good bottle brush can help with this. My favorite bottle brushes are: Dr. Brown’s, OXO Break:and: Munchkin. The soft end allows you to get into and clean all those nooks and crannies.
Disinfectant
Honestly, those big fancy electric steam sterilizers aren’t necessary. If you want convenience and have the money, they’re good, but if you don’t, you don’t need them. Your dishwasher can do the same. However, if you don’t want your food residue to possibly end up on your baby’s things, then use a microwaveable sterilizer. This is it. Dr. Brown’s And: of Avent. Pacifiers.

Bottle warmer:

Diapers, creams, and wipes.
You will need a lot of diapers, but make sure you don’t get too many of one size. Get some newborns, then a little more of size 1 and 2. If you’re planning on cloth diapering, follow the brand’s guidelines for the number you’ll need based on whether you’ll be giving your baby fully cloth or hybrid diapers. A ton of my friends and clients have. Pudge Infant Tub:. I want to warn families that it fits primarily in small sinks or pedestal sinks, so check before registering. Washcloths and hooded towels.

A travel crib isn’t just for big trips. If you plan to take the baby to the grandparents for the night or plan to be at someone else’s house during sleepovers, it’s good to have a comfortable and familiar place for the baby to sleep. Baby thermometer:
If your baby is sleeping but you need to check your baby’s temperature, no one wants to wake them up and put them back to bed. So instead, get one that can only read the temperature. swiping on their foreheads.
Humidifier:

noise machine:
Babies are used to hearing a lot of noise while they’re in the womb, so it’s comforting when they hear white noise. It helps them sleep.
